THE HOLY SCRIPTURES

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. The Scriptures (both Old and New Testament) are accurate, authoritative, and relevant for today.
2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21; John 17:17.

THE GODHEAD

There is only one God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:16-29; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 18:19; Philippians 2:6.

JESUS

The Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man, and is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again. He is the perfect substitute for the sin of mankind. He is also the perfect example for mankind.
Luke 1:31-35; 1 Peter 2:21-22; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Matthew 28:6; Matthew 28:19-20.

MAN, HIS FALL, AND HIS REDEMPTION

Man was originally created in the image and likeness of God. However, through the first man’s (Adam’s) sin, man fell, and sin and death (spiritual and physical) came into the world. Sin has separated each one of us from God. Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
Genesis 1:26-27, 3:6; Ephesians 1:7; Romans 5:12-19; Titus 3:5-7.

THE NEW BIRTH

The new birth occurs when the spirit of man is regenerated by the Word of God and the Spirit of God. This experience is often referred to as being born again, receiving salvation, or being reconciled to God. We experience the new birth by confessing with our mouths the Lord Jesus, and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead. When we become born again, our past sins are forgiven; old things are passed away, and we are made new in Christ.
Romans 10: 9-10; Luke 24:47; John 3:3-5; John 1:11-13; 1 John 5:12;
2 Corinthians 5:17.

WATER BAPTISM

Baptism in water is by immersion in water and is commandment of our Lord Jesus. This ordinance is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39.

BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the promise of Father God to every believer as declared by the Lord Jesus. This experience is after the new birth and is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance.
Acts 1:4-5; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 19:1-7.

SANCTIFICATION

Sanctification is being separated from sin and dedicated to the Lord. It is an ongoing work of the grace of the Lord Jesus that begins at the new birth and is perfected when a believer meets the Lord.
Hebrews 12:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 2 Peter 3:18; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12-14; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 1 John 3:2-3.

THE SECOND COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS

The Bible teaches that our Lord Jesus Christ will come again to this world. It is our blessed hope. Jesus will return to earth as King of kings, and Lord of lords.
Matthew 24:3; 29-31; Luke 21:7; Titus 2:13; Revelation 5:10; Revelation 19:11-16; Acts 1:11.

RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD

At the coming of the Lord, the dead in Christ will be resurrected, and believers who are alive at that time will be transformed and join the Lord. Our bodies will become incorruptible like the Lord, never to taste death, sin, or the curse again for eternity. This is the resurrection of the righteous, commonly called the rapture. There will also be a resurrection of the wicked unto eternal shame and destruction for all those who reject the Lord Jesus Christ.
Daniel 12:1-2, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:13.

ETERNAL JUDGEMENT

There will be the judgement seat of Christ for all who put their trust in the Lord Jesus where our works will be judged, and we will receive our eternal rewards for how we lived their lives for the Lord. There will also be the white throne judgment of God for everyone who dies in their sins without accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord. They will also be judged according to their works and punished eternally in the lake of fire.
Mathew 25:31-46; Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:11-15; Revelation 21:8.
